    Aftermarket headlights/tail lights

This isn’t a DIY question to modify exterior lighting, plenty of posts about that. I’m in search for aftermarket assemblies that fit our B8 S4’s.

I found Spyder brand but I may be one of the few that’s not looking to upgrade to newer B8.5 OEM look. I’d prefer to find an assembly/conversion that adds unique look to the S4 and doesn’t look like a cheap aftermarket.

Headlights - would prefer to keep B8 look so maybe opening the OE assembly is the best way
Tail Lights - I like the modern light design or a “clear” smoked lense.

Any links would be very helpful. I have found DIY’s for headlights so all set there. I’ve been asking a ton of questions lately and I appreciate all the support here. Thank you

There’s a company in Korea that does the DRL sequential turn signals on the B8

OP - Whatever you decide to go with, exercise appropriate caution when purchasing aftermarket lighting for your car, and only deal with reputable vendors. Here's a thread on the C7 forum that warns one member's experience with counterfeit tail lights being marketed online. He goes into detail with pictures and videos demonstrating the shoddy quality of his purchase.

I wouldn’t recommend replacing oem HID headlights with anything aftermarket.

Great feedback, thank you all. The headlight Ive seen smooth lense replacement, amber mark delete, tint and 5-6k bulb kit. As far as the upgraded headlight bulbs go there are so many options. What about changing the chrome interior trim color? I know it’s part cosmetic and part functional as a reflective surface for the lights. If you stayed with a metallic high heat paint wonder if it would still work? Has anyone changed theirs? I’ve seen one all blacked out, but I would want to do a complimentary color to Meteor Grey.

For the tail lights, anyone mod theirs? If so what did you do? Links would be awesome if you don’t mind.

I know these questions are asked but they are spread out across hundreds of the threads, with bits here and there. Technology changes so quick it would be good to get 2018 thoughts.
