    2017 A4 allroad Detailed Review

    Hey folks!

Finally got around to posting a review of my 2017 Audi A4 allroad wagon. It’s a pretty detailed review from an owner’s pov vs. a quick and dirty press-type review; hence the length:)

I’ve provided shortcuts in the video description to jump to specific sections if needed.
Let me know if anybody has any questions!

    Cheers!

Great review. I do have to disagree on the Walnut inlays. I did a special order on my A5 SB & I chose the Walnut inlays. I think they go well with the Nougat Brown interior. Although, none of the inlays would have been a deal breaker for me. Also, I would have preferred the MMI screen to be better integrated into the panel.

Fair point, and I probably went a little too aggressive on the walnut inlay. BUT, a lot of that was backed by growing up looking at similar faux-wood in my dad's cars (not saying that the one in the Allroad is faux) or the fact that the glossy inlays are absolute fingerprint and scratch magnets. I actually think the non-lacquered open-pore Oak looks the best...but as mentioned in the video, we either picked this particular car up as-is or wait an indefinite amount of time before the next one that matched our requirements came by!

Have the rear fog lights been discontinued for the 2018 models? I see the button in yours during the video and he has it here http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...hlight=allroad as well.

My Allroad is loaded with everything except the painted lowers and I don't have the rear fogs. Went to turn them on the other day and found I didn't have the button to do it.

On a different note, I like the video so far. I am going to start over and watch it again. I got sidetracked when I saw the button.

Yes. AofA removed the rear fog for 2018. I’m in the same boat.

I wonder if it can be retrofitted.

It can be. But requires modules and wiring.
