VIN Decoder and options list?

I am looking at a 2014 A5 convertible (WAULFAFHXEN005535), but I'm coming from MB, so I'm at the bottom of the Audi learning hill. First, although there are a bunch of VIN decoders online, I cannot find one that actually tells me what this particular car has. They either list every available option package that year or they are just a long list of all the standard stuff like "body color bumpers" and "ashtray." Is there a VIN decoder out there that will give me just the info on this car - basically like a build sheet?

I can tell from the ad photos that is has the perforated leather, NAV, satin finish wood and the B&O stereo, but beyond that I'm clueless.

Second, is there a good site you recommend that describes what the option packages or stand alone options were that year? I have them memorized for an MB CLK, and can tell instantly what any car does or does not have. I'd like to be able to do that here.

I asked the Audi customer rep on this forum the same question and the answer is no, there isn't a VIN decoder that lists all the options on any particular car. This is where Audi lags vs BMW where you can get complete build information on your car>

Coming from BMW, I feel your pain. Been trying to get a window sticker decoded for my 2013 S6, the closest one seems to be the Carvana site, but it always just says that it can't decode my VIN at this time.

The wikilender site USED to give extremely good results - full window sticker. Then it was "moved" to carvana and it's a piece of shit that works about 1 in 20 attempts. This has pretty much halted my hunt for a car since no dealer or seller ever properly lists options and I'd like to see the original sticker. Send your hate to the carevana idiot to fix his site!

I've done exactly that (multiple times, since it says to do that on the site). If you're buying from an Audi dealer, they'll be able to look up the sticker for you. The car I bought was listed by an Audi dealer (CPO), but the dealer didn't list the Sport Diff or Adaptive Damping Suspension in their ad. I almost overlooked the car for that reason, but decided to call since I wasn't getting the deal I wanted on 2 other vehicles I was looking at.

Call the dealer. Ask for a window sticker. They can get it for you if they want to, even if it's not an Audi dealer listing the car.

I went into the dealer and asked in person just last week. They pulled up the VIN and emailed me the window sticker in 2 mins. I bought some parts for my other car so they were happy and I got what I wanted.

I'm the 2nd owner of my 2014 A4 Quattro. I reached out to Audi USA over the phone and they were able to send me pdf of the original window sticker via email. There had been some confusion about the trim, with my car coming up at higher trim level.

Turns out that my particular car had the S line and cold weather packages added on, both of which are standard on the higher tiers.

Hey! When buying a used car, be sure to check the VIN code. For example, this can be done on the Epicvin site. The VIN code can be very useful: checking the control sign, you are warned against buying a low-quality car (fake); you can find out the real mileage of the car; exclude theft of a car or it’s being pledged; determine if the car was involved in an accident; find out if the car has “improvements” made by previous owners. And after that, you can buy a car with confidence.
