    Pro's:
-No need for wheel hangers and wrestling with the wheels to get them to line up.
-Access to large variety of lugs nuts (shapes/sizes/colors)
    -They look way cooler.

    Con's:
-Some people think they do not provide the same clamping strength as wheel bolts (which isn't true)
-If you buy the cheap studs they will corrode between the lug nut and the stud and seize up and then pull out of the hub when you go to change wheels.
-Potentially limits you on the spacer you can run if you need them (but this applies to wheel bolts as well).

All in all studs are a great option, especially if you are changing/removing your wheels a bunch. It used to be hard to find any cool "tuner" style lug nuts in M14x1.5 but that really isn't the case anymore.

Make sure you buy the quality wheel studs that are zinc coated. I bought the cheap ones at first and had issues with corrosion and seizing up the lug nuts. Then I bought the set from ECS and haven't had that issue in over a year.

I can post links of what I have if you are interested.

I've performed the upgrade all on my Bimmers and Audis.
    Pros:
    - quick and easier wheel changes as you don't have to mate up the bolt holes
    - with the right stud and nut combination, looks fantastic
    - relatively cheap upgrade compared to other things you'll upgrade on the S5 $125<-/+$5-$10

    Cons:
    - adds absolutely no HP or TQ to your S5 ( )
    - properly torquing them on requires two lug nuts back to back (best way to do it)
    - IF you don't choose the right looking lug nut, can look terrible with your rim setup because the bolts range from 50-80mm in length and will "poke out"

    Would I recommend it? For roughly $125, it's a no-brainer!

    This is definitely not required.

No, you can use straight M14x1.5

Here is a link to the studs (they make two versions, 10mm spacer capable and 20mm spacer capable): https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...1467ecs01kt10/

Here is a link to the lug nuts (same ones as ECS but cheaper and more colors available): https://www.ebay.com/itm/20PC-LIGHTW...item3a5f844268

    Sweet! Thanks!

    I won’t need spacers

The 12x1.5 would be for a spiked type of lug.
