RS3 8V Sedan Manufacturer (and member) Confirmed Wheel Fitments

Because the RS3 holds a special place in my heart, I wanted to try and take some of the frustration out of choosing wheels that fit due to the large caliper and small MQB architecture combo.

What I've decided to do is use Post #1 and Post #2 for manufacturer confirmed wheel fitments without spacers and in what specs for the 8V RS3 Sedan. Meaning, I have contacted the manufacturer and we have confirmed by either test fitting or via craft expertise that those options will work.

I'm going to use Post #3 to list manufacturer confirmed fitment with spacers with the suggested spacer width. I will also use Post #3 for Custom wheels. Additionally, I’d like to do a section with Audi OEM fitments but that may have to be member confirmed only because Audi tends to not go on the record for "off-label" use of anything (End of Post #3).

This is not an all inclusive list of manufacturers but I will do my best to keep adding fits. I'm always waiting on other vendors to reply so I will be updating it as often as I can so check back for the most current info.

If any one has any requests for confirmed fitment, post the manufacturer name, wheel line, diameter, width and offset. Ill do my best to confirm it and update it into the appropriate Post.

If anyone wants quotes on anything please email me [email protected] instead of posting so we can keep the thread concise.

Note: Post #1, #2 and #3 info is meant to be used as a guide for the wheels under lowering of about 1” at factory camber.


This info shouldn’t change but anything is possible so please make sure you make a final confirmation with the manufacturer if you place an order elsewhere.

The RSe 102 in 19" +40 should fit exactly the same.

“RS3 fitments:

- All designs in 19x8.5 and 19x9.0
- 18x8.5 and 9.0 +40/45 RSe10
- 18x9.0 +40 RSe52

These will fit WITHOUT any spacers, straight bolt on. The 9.0” wheels will be supplied with 66.5-57.1 hub centric rings.”

Maybe the application function on their site is not updated to reflect it?

Neuspeed wheels usually have a ton of caliper clearance. Most are designed for aftermarket BBK.

RSe102 is also available in 19x8.5.

You don’t need to. In fact I don’t see any reason to front stagger in a winter set up at all.

That does look good but I want my set up tucked in the fender a tad more. Based on this I’m thinking the 19X8.5 +40 with a 245/35/19 might be the better choice for me. Thanks for posting the picture!!!

Didn’t skip just waiting on complete info from manufacturers.

I’ll be adding different manufacturers lines as they are confirmed. Due to the tight tolerances involved here it seems several won’t confirm fitment until they get an RS3 in house to measure up. And I’m trying to be careful to post only sure bets per their recommendations.

Here is a link to my post regarding Neuspeed wheels in 19x9. I have been very pleased with these wheels even though they are a bit heavier than promised. Note since this post, I have checked my scale and it is accurate, so I believe that these wheels do in fact weigh 22 lbs.

It is curious that there are numerous wheels (incl Hartman) that specify 235 or 245 tires on their 8.5" and 9" rims, but not 255 tires. Since the wheels mostly have lower offsets (such as 38) it is difficult to understand why the 255 tires would be an issue, since the tires are further out from the car than the 255 tires are with the factory 46mm offsets. Can anyone explain why this is?

Also, I'm considering the Neuspeed RSe 102 in Hyper Black but am not sure what it looks like. Appears to be like a black chrome finish. Curious if anyone has any Neuspeed wheels in that finish and if they could describe or provide photos of them.

So those are manufacturer recommended tire sizes. Ideal configuration to use with the rim on this platform. Since that is kind of the theme here I chose to include the tire size if they provided it. Over time that may change on the manufacturer level and I’m sure it will on the functional level as people exercise trial and error.

Neuspeeds hyper black is my favorite finish they have. I’ll see what pics I have and post them.
