Many of you are likely not familiar with this brand of wheel or the quality of their craftsmanship, these are typically found on Japanese vehicles. The M3 guys seems to be quite fond of them as well. There are only 2 companies in the world that can manufacture wheels of this caliber, the first being BBS in Germany and the second being Rays Engineering in Japan. The reason I say this is because they are the only two companies in the world that own and utilize 10,000 ton presses when mold forging their wheels. Mold forging is the pinnacle of forged wheel technology, don't mistake these for some flow forged/flow formed marketing BS or companies that simply cnc mill their wheel designs from pre-forged blanks. These two processes are very different and yield much different strength properties. These wheels are second to none, save for the wheels that are employed by the likes of Koenigsegg and their full carbon fiber wheels.

I purchased these a few weeks ago locally from someone on Craigslist for $3000, I didn't even get a chance to mount tires on them. They are in perfect condition with zero damage, not a single flaw on any of the four wheels.

Rays index for 19x8.5 5x112 is ET44

The link you posted with ET33 is for 5x114.3

Just curious what the deal is there, you never mounted them, could you have 5x114.3 and not know it ?

I've ran across a set of Rays that looked legit, down to the finish, could not find the offset in Rays index and 5 lbs heavier, best looking fakes I've seen in person.

I hope you didn't get taken by the CL seller.

Sorry, I listed these very late in evening/early in the morning! Forgot to mention that they've been redrilled by VR wheels in City of Industry here in SoCal via CNC machine.

I have a few friends and have known many people over the years that have competed in autox and roadcourse events on redrilled wheels without issue. Example here by someone that many of you know https://www.google.com/amp/nickscarb...els-review/amp

I've weighed them myself at 18.4lbs so them being replicas is absolutely impossible. The only fake Volk wheels I know of are that of TE37 and CE28n, Rota makes a replica of these but with no engraving anywhere on the wheel and not in this spec.

Ohh, that makes sense. I've used VR services before, top notch, I'm sure they did a great job.

I was hoping you made a mistake and these were ET44, I'm afraid x.5 wider and ET16 lower from my current setup will poke out,to bad you don't have tires on them to test fit.

Also, gave the wheels a really close up and thorough once over and I did in fact find a flaw. This nick, 1mm in length roughly. Besides this, they are immaculate
