2012 Audi Q5 2.0t Premium Plus
Finally made some purchases for my car that made it worthy of starting a build thread. To start, I got the RS Honeycomb Grille, which looks amazing. Today I bought used rims from someone who had an S4. Spent a few hours cleaning them up, and I'm pretty happy with how they came out. They should be getting installed sometime this week, but I'll keep you guys updated!

Here's my plan for the Q5

Honeycomb Foglight Covers
H&R Sport Springs
Revo 2.0 TFSI Intake
APR Stage 1 Tune
APR 3" Cast Downpipe Kit
Thule Flow 606
Caractere Spoiler
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
Headlight & Taillight Conversion

Bought theses 19" S-Line rims today and spent an hour or two cleaning them up. Once my tires come in, they'll be ready to get installed sometime this week.

What width on the rims? Very nice btw...I got a grill too but haven't put it on yet. How long did it take you?

Also what did you pay for your rims? PM if you are more comfortable. I'm looking at a set to use as snow/ winters. I have factory 20's, but love the peelers. Do you plan on spacers?

The rims are 235/55/19. I paid $600 for them, which is a steal considering they go for $500 EACH brand new. And they're in pretty good shape too, there's only one spot with curb rash. I had the grille installed at an Audi Dealership and it took about an hour. One modification they had to do was spray paint the crash bar black, so it didn't stand out as much.

Haha, all good! Im going to apply CQuartz UK on them tomorrow to add some protection and (hopefully) more gloss.

Here's what they looked like before. Kinda hard to tell, but they were filthy. Meguiars Wheel Brightener and a few brushes really did the trick!

Just bought H&R Sport Springs

Hopefully getting installed on Monday. As much as I wanted coilovers, they just wouldn't be practical with the road conditions here in CT.

But really just giving you a hard time. I will be going with the KW HAS more than likely myself.

Can't wait to see it lowered!!

But anyways, my H&R Sport Springs got installed yesterday. Dropped about an inch in the front and rear, but will get lower as the springs settle. Today I took them on my favorite windy road in my area to test them out, and all I can say is wow! I couldn't believe how it handled! They took away all body roll and the car just felt so planted to the ground. I drove a Range Rover SVR a while back, and as good as that handled, the springs on the Q are way better. It's definitely a much firmer ride, but it's not that bad. Hopefully I'll be able to put up pics of it soon.

Well, I finally gave the Q5 a much needed full detail. Paint was completely corrected and removed of all swirls and scratches, and then topped off with CQuartz UK Ceramic Coating. Super happy with how it came out!

Haven’t checked in in a while lol, but I’m still here! Just really haven’t had much time at all between graduating high school and starting up my own business which kept me pretty busy over the summer. But nothing has changed on the Q since I last checked in. I have the exterior exactly how I imagined it so I’m not thinking anything else will change with that. I was hoping to start some performance mods but I’ve been having turbo underboost problems lately, AND it just crossed the 161k mile mark so I really don’t want to push it. There’s always the idea of selling it and getting an Allroad or a 3.0 Q5 floating in the back of my head though
