    RS4 front bumper

    Anyone have experience with an aftermarket RS4 front bumper for B8 S4? What brand provides best fitment? Would prefer to retain fog lights. Pics would be great, thanks folks.

    That looks great! I was looking at those on ebay. I just wish they retained the fog lights. That and the fact that the B8 version is twice the price of the B8.5. Not sure why?

    OP, i have it on my B8.5. The installer said it look a little "massaging" to get it to fit, but it was perfect by the time i got it. very pleased

    The ebay version posted above sells for $499 for B8.5 and $859 for B8. Not sure why there is such a price disparity between the two.

    Yep, mine is Monsoon Grey. I wanted something aggressive but more "clean" than my current setup (plus i'm tired of scraping the front lip every time I go over a small bump, haha)

    Can't wait to get the bumper back from paint and installed!

    Mine is from eBay. I had to trim the aluminum bumper bar that sits behind the cover in order to get the cover to fit properly.

    Imported this directly from a Chinese manufacturer, except the screw hole connecting the belly pan was off by a little it fits pretty well.

    The color difference between these bumpers and the fenders is hilarious. And it looks pretty bad when the front is aggressive and the rest of the car is... tame.

    I believe Caractere makes one with fog lights. It is quite a bit more costly though. Ideally that's what I would want.

    Mine was supposed to be ready tomorrow, however the body shop said the base coat of primer that came on the bumper is shit, so they are going to strip it, re-prime and then paint, so its getting push back to the beginning of this coming week.

    There is always a color difference between a bumper (plastic) and fender (metal). It's normal. Bumpers also have a flex additive that's mixed in. Some cars do have plastic fenders as well but not these. As another guy stated the primer used by these ebay companies is usually shit and if you want a "better" match it's a good idea to strip it. Re-Prime it and paint it with a factory color. Most body shops spray a mix of colors till they get close enough. All depends on the shop/painter and so on. But anyway there is always a color difference unless the car is straight plain black
