    Automatic headlight/ rain sensor warning light

    Can anyone please advise what needs to be done and point me to a DIY? We had the light in the image in the article below come on

    The lights do work manually (not when set to Auto) but was curious how difficult the repair work is to perform. Thanks.

    First step should probably be to scan for any fault codes and go from there.

    Fault codes: 01520 - Rain and Light Recognition Sensor (G397) Implausible Signal and 01316 - ABS Control Module: No Signal/ Communication

    I have cleared the codes, plan to check the fuse this weekend and will see if the codes come back. In the mean time, if anyone has received these codes while their automatic light sensor did not work, please chime in.

    Sorry, yes. Cleared the codes and all was fine for a while but it came back. Cleared again and has been fine for over a month. :-)
