A5/S5/RS5 Remote Start Solution

Hello all,

Has anyone on this forum (thread) had any experience with a product from Fortin called EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE? I'm asking my Audi mechanic later today if he'd be able to install it but based on the site, it should work with all of our cars, regardless of what kind of key you have (push to start/key slot). It's extremely cheap and would allow you to remote start your car by pressing the lock button 3x on your factory remote to start the vehicle. Link:

There has been a few posts before about remote starts. From what I have read they are possible on all Audi models, but the installer must be very well experienced with Audi's. Most shops I have spoken to tell me there pita. Not sure where your located but there are a few who can and have the experience in NYC and some in the nj area.

Hi jkownz, sadly I live nowhere near NY or NJ, I actually live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada near the rockies. I will see how hard it would be to install and if my local mechanic would be willing to do it, and maybe it'll be a good solution for more people on this forum!

keep us updated... very interested as well. Having an Audi tech take a look at the install instructions... look like you have to give up the valet key...
