I bought and used Castrol Pro Edge 0W-20 from a vendor here.
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ght=oil+change

But today I was looking up online to see what oil I should use and it said I should use 0W-40 for our cars.

Should I go get 0W-40 and replace the oil or I should be ok with 0W-20 for now?

I think you made the right choice with the 508.00/509.00 0w-20. Thats what It says to use right on the tag under our hood. I believe that maintenance protocol hasn't been properly updated. I really wish we could use the old 502.00 spec as the Castrol Edge 0w-40 5 quart jug is available everywhere for as little as $25. The days of performing an oil change for under $50 on my old S3 are gone with the new S4/S5.

Also I guess we can't do top side extractor changes since we don't have a dip stick anymore.......

That PDF listing 5W40/5W30/0W40 was published by Audi on 2/23/2017. Audi released an updated PDF in September listing the 0W20/VW 508 spec --> https://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/...e_9-7-2017.pdf

The 0W20 change was almost certainly driven by it's fuel economy advantage (per Castrol/Audi press release, the 0W20 delivers more than 4% increase in fuel economy), and while I'm sure it's "fine", I'd personally feel more comfortable sticking to the previously published 30 or 40 weight oil if I cared about the long-term life of the engine, especially with performance driving.

In the PDF it is stated that the A5/B9 needs to use 5w-40..
