    StopTech High Carbon Brake Rotors

Any one had any experience with StopTech High Carbon Brake Rotors (link to rotors below)? These are not slotted or drilled, just plain rotors. Is the higher price of the rotors worth it compared with plain Zimmerman, Meyle or Centric rotors? I will be buying the Akebono ceramic brake pads. I might take the car to the track for one event. Just need feedback on the rotors. Let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, I have experience with them in my B7 and my C5. I haven't had a single issue with them on either car and they've been quiet on each. I paired them up with Centric's Posi-Quiet ceramic pads and have no issues braking either. B7's brakes were the Brembo 18Zs, and they stopped on a dime, nice and smooth. C5 still has its stock brakes, and as undersized as they are, I don't feel any real decrease in performance in the stupid Baltimore-DC traffic I face daily.

I also purchased mine through Parts Geek, as they seemed to have the lowest price I could find at the time.

I run them on my Subaru - they are really nice in that they don't show much rusting - so appearance remains vs others that will show some rust over time...

I have them paired with Porterfield R4S Pads - stopping power is excellent - even application feel and zero issues with pad deposits or warped feeling - super smooth and even braking.

IMHO - worth the extra money/!

Just as a heads up, ceramic brake pads are not for track use. You need a proper track pad with a car this heavy.
