I will start off this post by saying this; if anyone at all has any sort of thoughts or suggestions or anything, I would greatly appreciate it if you took a second to reply to this post and let me know.
I drive a 2010 A4 2.0t. Last night I was driving to go pick up some food. I was probably about 1/8 of a mile away from my destination as I got a warning with 3 loud beeps and then the message that said "Oil Pressure Low - Turn Off Engine" but then it went away. I had no warning lights on or anything but as I was pulling into the parking lot it happened again so I pulled in and shut off my car. I went inside and got my food, it was probably 15 minutes later when I left. I turned on my car and waited a minute, got no warnings, so I drove home slowly with the flashers on which was about 3 miles. This morning on my way to work everything seemed fine, no warnings or lights but I still took it easy. When I left work everything seemed okay, I drove about a mile and then my check engine light came on but that was it. No warnings or beeping. Then about 10 miles later as I was getting off at my exit I got the same warning as yesterday, and then I got it again right afterwards about 10 seconds later, so I pulled over and shut off my car. Waited about 10 minutes, turned on my car and drove the rest of the way home which was about 1/2 mile and got the same warning again right when I was pulling in the driveway.
I tried to check my oil level on the multimedia interface yesterday when it happened and today when it happened but it says "there is no information available at this time" or something along those lines.
This is the first winter I have had this car. Im not sure if that is a factor or not but yesterday it was around 30 to 35 degrees and today it is around 35 to 40 degrees.
If anyone has any thoughts on what my problem may be or any suggestions on what I should do, please let me know as I would greatly appreciate it and I would really like to avoid going to the shop, or even worse, the dealership.
Thanks in advance,
Jacob
