Can the c7 4.0 engine make blow out noise?

Previously own an r35 gtr,.had aftermarket blow off valve installed, that whistle intake noise sound great.

Just wondering does the c7 engine have blow off valves? Any way can mod to have that intake noise? Thanks

There called blow off valves! Throw a intake on it and cal it a day.

Don't use BOV, use a DV if you really feel like you need to.

This is a video I shot a few weeks back on in-cab sound as it drops in RPMs. Started when I ripped out OEM airbox and hooked in a K&N RAI. If you need more than that then yiiiiiikes.

These engines are not designed to dump boost.

Never dyno’d so can’t say but I wanted it for visual aesthetic and increased airflow. Subjectively, I️ absolutely feel a difference in midrange power bands. sound was a quite unexpected benefit.

Yeah, I took an English class back in 87 ;). I didn’t run the search with any engine model.

I doubt ECS is running a massive sale on my 3 legged unicorn’s parts. I️ don’t know many things but I can guess they’ve got 4.0 parts too.
