Any tuned b9 a4 run a confirmed Quarter mile yet!.. I would think apr's stg1 tune on the ea888 gen3 is20 turbo would be quite a definite improvement over stock times...

13.9 or 13.5?.. would have thought to be quicker!. I'd expect the apr stg1 tune would perform better!.

It ran 13.5. No cool down at all. I can say without a doubt that with the apr tune it would low 13’s maybe even a high 12. According to the butt Dyno that is.

My daughter ran 13.15 at 102 MPH last friday with just the APR tune. Traction control off and leaving against the 3000 soft stall as from the factory. 1.90's 60'!

We are going to shed the 70 pounds of crap in the trunk and look for a 12.99!

Then will be the AWE full exhaust and intake....

Judging from his following post it seems clear the drag times are prior to getting the stage I tune

Under his time slip, it says time using neuspeed module. So not exactly stock.

Yes it ran a 13.5 with just the neuspeed power module. It was set to the plus 7 high setting. I then got the apr stage one tune and didn’t take it to the track with that, but I would say without a doubt it would have gotten into the high 12’s with a trap of probably around 105.
That tune was pretty amazing. Torque was awesome. I now have a b9 s4 and the a4 was my wife’s car that we no longer have. The s4 with a cpa piggyback, bmc drop in filter and ecs intercooler ran a 12.18 at 112mph. Pretty happy with that.

Thanks for the follow up answer . I didn't realize BoostdS8 had resurrected a 2 year old thread until I had responded to the comment from hyperunion.

Hey, it's all good. It obviously piqued my interest enough to respond. There are plenty of us who picked up these cars a lot more recently, and are still looking into these things.

I had no issues with a high idle. Didn’t track it on plus 5. I am a neuspeed dealer and after a few conversations with them they said to run the plus seven since we have 93 octane. One of my technicians has it on his mk7 gti and no issues there at all. The only thing you can have happen that I have seen is let’s say you were making a u turn and getting on it or had some wheel slip when getting on it in the rain it may throw a check engine light due to a manifold absolute pressure fault. Not a big deal, but that’s the only thing I’ve seen. It’s just the car seeing more boost when it’s trying to cut power with traction control. Their are settings to turn off if you look at the gti instructions on neuspeed’s website. I’m not sure if you can turn those off on the a4 or not. If you are going to drive it hard, turn off the traction control and you won’t have any issues with this.

    Huge bump from the dead!

Anyone else have any updates to report? Lots more of us with tunes out there. Would be cool to keep this thread going. I’m sure there’s lots in the 12s and even 11s at this point!
