Deleting heater hose to throttle body

Is it ok to cap off all the coolant hoses to the throttle body? Would you have to reroute any lines or just cap them off? I do not drive the car in the winter so I figured it would be fine

JHM actually offers a bypass for that. Check out their site...

You cap the nipple coming off the large coolant pipe on the rear of the engine and the delete the tee on the hose going to the coolant overflow reservoir. The two remaining nipples on the PCV conduit between PCV regulator and the intake manifold can either be capped or left open. I think you’ll need 8mm (5/16”) caps and a 10mm (3/8”) straight barb to replace the tee.

Couple of pics I took while I had the manifold off. One is of the main coolant pipe with a cap and clamp, and the second is of the manifold where the coolant lines typically pass thru.

I’ll find some time to add the tee that has to be deleted off the coolant reservoir line near the firewall.

Did the same thing, put it all back together and now I got a pretty goodcoolant leak somewhere by the back of the motor. Can't really see where it's coming from maybe the hose clamp didn't seal the best guess the intake manifolds gotta come back off...

Appreciated if you can also post the photo of how you delete the tee.

I also purchased the throttle body coolant line delete kit from JHM but the instruction photos on the JHM website is not for B7 RS4.

Have you experienced any issues after the coolant line delete?

Mine doesn’t leak. However, I haven’t driven around much since the weather is turning around and I typically like to have more than just a few miles within one brief drive cycle before pronouncing anything is successful. Can’t really say I’ve tested enough yet.
