Update patch working in my 7".

Had to copy the 1,1Gb "update.zip" file into the microSD and then virtually* extract and insert it for the file to run. Several restarts afterwards the system was updated and running flawlessly.

Any info on if we can use the mmi physical next and previous buttons for the media player and regarding the media player, are we able to see Bluetooth song info and control it within the system ( I know the current build has the player but it lacks ability to control streaming songs from the device)

Hi Daniel. In my opinion, those 3 Android buttons at the bottom look really ugly. (Ruining the current appearance)
These look like a "patch" into design removing the "Premium" aspect of the launcher.





I and people from other forums agree that those 3 functions: "Multitasking, Home, Back" are essential.

But now tell me if you agree with me with the following:
Is not better to activate those 3 functions, through the radio buttons?

I would agree that it would help with available screen real estate not to have the android screen buttons.

It's for driving safety. Especially, 'recent apps(square)' icon is necessary for quicker switching between recently used apps.

The radio hardware buttons are not supported. They are not part of LINBUS, and cannot be accessed over CANBUS.

We may consider an alternative in next update, but I won't change at this time.

Also, for 1280x480 screens, the nav bar goes either left or right(default), not the bottom, so it's not applicable to you, Dennis.

in 99% of use it's perfect!!!! low and max in climate control...yeeeah!!! top cars in between choose....customizable keys!!!
very good.
for me it is 100% integrated in my audi

we know perfectly where are the keys.......it could be darker.....80% black....a little more camouflaged such as screen off key

think about it in the next release....

Got a beta.
Mostly fine, but few glitches like that power button. So we wait.

Navi app is customizable (no icon change), and there are three more customizable icons.

On the left side, there are dots swipe up for brighter and down for dim.

Power button turns off the screen(just screen only)

10.25 inch will be the same but weather widget on the right.

Wanted to support custom widget for 10.25" right side this time, but Mr. Teng, our soft. Eng.', says 'eh..... later, later'.

I've heard that Android Auto no longer needs to be connected to a cable (it works wirelessly flawlessly). Please confirm if we have this feauture with the 7" unit

Well,
Yes, Android Auto itself start to support wifi, but our device doesn't have authorization from google, and it's relying on the dongle, so, wifi direct connect is not possible.
But HeadUnit Reloaded app from playstore is supporting Android Auto Wireless connection, but it was rather unstable when I tried few months ago.
Also, I don't believe 'flawlessly'. I mean it would stay connected well, but it will still compress a lot and lags over wifi. Plus, the battery drain... woo
