    Audi A5 2.0 EFR-6758 Build

    Hello everyone,

    I've started this build about 2 years ago.

    K04->K04 Hybrid (TTE420)->EFR-6758

    Current specs:

    - built motor with IE, Mahle, Supertech and some custom components
    - upgraded fuel system (Autotech HPFP, Bosch GM injectors)
    - water-methanol multiport injection (custom controller)
    - IE intake manifold
    - Turbozentrum EFR-6758 with manifold
    - brakes, suspension and lot of other stuff

    Current results (98 RON):
    - 550hp (480whp) / 700Nm
    - 1/4 mile - 11.7
    - 0-100 kph - 4 sec
    - 100-200 kph - 8.9 sec

    Right now we are upgrading the DSG clutches and the next target is 1/4 in 11.5 sec

    Dear God, wlcr, you’re getting over 400kW out of that engine!!! Yes, by all means, DSG upgrade next before the poor thing vaporises! 700Nm...

    Here is the pic of the turbo in place -



    And this is the final look -



    As you can see it's very close to stock. After some modifications the turbo fits perfectly (it was designed for transverse engines).

    Nice....but how's the turbo lag? I'd imagine it's got almost all of it's power in the upper rpm's, no?

    Here is the graph, I have more than enough torque at 3k rpm. After K04 I don't feel much difference in spool.

    Heh))) It's still in one piece and there are no signs of melting) I hope to get better numbers soon)

    Not bad at all !!!! You should get more power on E85 or race fuel 5xx . what transmission do you have DL501 ?

    Yeah, DL501.
    We don't have E85 here but 98RON+WM is ok for everyday use. I'm going to try 102RON+WM after the gearbox upgrade.

    Is that the most power anyone has made from a 2.0T engine? I don't know that I've seen anyone making more power than that....

    I don't know any car on B8 platform and 2.0T with more power. Maybe some special projects, but this one is an everyday car.

    Can you please provide more information about the upgrade of DL501 ? I wondering because I want to upgrade mine is well and what kind torque rate will be ?

    It's the new set of clutches (not the SSP ones) and it can be engaged much faster, that's all I can tell now.
    I hope that it gonna hold 800nm, we'll see)

    All software (ECU and TCU) by AGPMotorsport. It's a Russian company specialized in custom tuning.

    Yes, LPFP is stock, but duty cycle is changed in software. The same pump is used in RS6/7 so it's more than enough.

    The summer is coming and it's time for more power)

    In two weeks I'm going to disassemble the engine, rebuild the head and install +1mm valves.
    Actually it wasn't necessary, but after burning about 1L of oil per 400km I put the camera inside the cylinder and noticed lot of oil getting past the valve guides.

    So, as always, every malfunction means tuning)

    I'll keep the thread updated)

    Supertech +1mm valves
    Supertech springs
    New valve seats and guides
    Port & polish
