Billy Boat exhaust, anyone have it?

Looking for something better than stock but zero drone (lots of highway driving).
Only found one youtube vid of the BB exhaust and that was at idle.

Looking to compare it with/to AWE touring.

Anyone have or seen it besides the AWE system?

They have two. "Stealth" and "Sport", the stealth will be like the AWE touring with resonator, and the Sport will be loud w/o resonator and droney like the AWE track.

Sounds decent, but not anywhere as refined as the AWE sound.

Give the Milltek Resonated system a look if your goal is next to zero drone.

The only exhaust I know of that has zero drone is the scorpion exhaust. I have it in mine and it’s 100% drone free, it’s not very loud but the tone of it for me is far nicer than any other exhaust as there is no raspiness either

As someone who recently picked up a awe touring I would really try to hear whatever you are buying in person. Most say the touring has very little if any drone, I find the drone quite bad, however drone is subjective so bad drone to one may be nothing to another. I do have a DSG on stock dp’s which I’m looking to replace with awe res dp’s which will help substantially I think. I rode with a local with that setup and it seemed much less drone’y than mine.

I get my Scorpion fitted on Monday, I really hope it lives up to expectations, I can't stand drone but the stock S4 exhaust is SO anodyne I bit the Scorpion bullet after reading the reviews (I also can't wait to get that soundaktor switched off. Urgh). At some point I'll try and grab a sound clip.

I went for the half version and even Scorpion didn't exactly sell me on the additional cost of the full system; their sales rep said (and I quote) "There’s not a great deal of difference in sound or performance between the half system and cat back system plus there’s no drone with either." ...!

I had the stealth model on my car a couple yrs ago.
It had drone until I took the 2 baby res out and put a x pipe in place of them.
It sounded very nice after that and NO drone (with stock cats)
Once I took the cats out there was drone so I got rid of the exhaust..
The exhaust is on my old bosses car now and I can take a video with the x pipe and no res up front..

I was under the impression that the downpipes with resonators was what cancelled the drone out, they’re fairly cheap anyway so suppose you could add them later if need be.

I had a custom on for about 40 miles before I had it removed as the drone was unbearable. My scorpion is a lot quieter and from inside the car isn’t really any louder than stock but from outsid sounds really nice

Interesting. Sounds like the kind of exhaust I'm looking for. Something that changes the tone to be more aggressive with zero drone, and minimal volume increase. Wonder how difficult it is to get one in North America?

Based on their website they have multiple US dealers, but none appear to be Audi focused. I'd bet one could order it though without issue.
