    Hey guys

Looking to see what you use for oil, read i need 502 00 oil for my 13 A6 3.0T.

Was going to go with Mobil 1 5w30 as it's approved (and I live in the Northeast aka snow belt), any idea how many quarts exactly?

I use Mobil 1 0W40, usually takes about 7.5 quarts. You can get 5 Quart Jugs from Walmart for less than $25

I ran Castrol 0w40, just changed to liquimoly 0w40. Whatever you run, just make sure it meets the spec.

Liquimoly Liechtlauf 5w40 only for me. I have used Pennzoil ultra euro also which was great and has an improved version now. People talk great stuff about Total as well.

I use whatever audi puts in there... however, I'm an old fart, and don't bother to change my own oil. The last audi I changed oil in was my 1990 200q, no joke.

Mobil 1 0-40 here. I usually throw in 8 quarts because of the filter. And have never had a problem.

thanks everyone, went with 0W40 Mobil 1

All data states capacity is 7.1 quarts, bought 8 and tossed the other half quart in the trunk just incase.

Oddly enough my A6 3.0 doesn't burn any oil compared to most on here that have that problem?

Mine burns very little. Maybe a half a quart over 5,000 miles.

Had mine changed 1,500 miles ago, just had to ad another quart when my low oil warning light went on. Car is extremely thirsty.

Depends on how spirited I'm driving. I've had to add a quart after less than a thousand miles since my previous change. It isn't always that bad, but I add at least 2 quarts per 5,000 miles on average.

Wow, my car barely uses any oil. 7000 miles on the last oil change and it was only down a quarter of a quart. 64k miles on the car currently. I would wonder if something is up with the pcv system with excessive usage.
