TT RS 1/4 mile time

Raced myself tonight (about 70F outside), so ignore RT. Stock with 1/2 tank of fuel and myself (3500lbs on the scale). I had a little wheel spin, but still managed an 11.7256.

Density Altitude: 1728 feet

I did [email protected] last night! 0-60 foot was 1.755, definitely room for improvement.

I did 11.4 with Iroz DP and Secondary Cat delete pipes. Non prepped track event first run was best with a decent amount of wheel spin.

I pulled our TTRS off the dyno around 6pm last night and took it to the local drag strip; ran a best of [email protected] with a 1.66s 60ft using only our beta Stage 1+ ECU calibration. Unfortunately they refused to prep the track so it was spinning heavily off the launch. The DA was -306ft. Will get back to the track as soon as we can, hopefully with some better track prep to make for a 10sec pass.

Have to has!! I have the DTUK piggyback, which does work, but I also can see how much better a tune would be. For that time they have to be getting an extra 100hp/100tq.

Well, you definitely have more power than stock and it is an easy install and uninstall that shouldn't affect the warranty. Butt dyno is saying about 50hp/tq, but could be more. I've had tuned cars and there is just something more complete feeling about them over a piggyback.

So, net/net - it does work, is reasonably priced, easy to install, easy to take off, but I am sure a tune would be better - especially with exhaust. When a tune does come out I will dyno stock vs DTUK vs tune.

Pump gas, 94 octane. Similar to quality US 93 octane.

Considering iroz had to run aux fuel managment to run the e85 aspect in the mk2 I would assume it would be just as difficult on the mk3

making a port is the easy part, controlling the fuel with the ecu is where it gets complicated, hence why they had to use a standalone system for the previous generation.

Granted who knows what will happen at this point there isn't even a tune out in the US yet, but the mk7 was easy because the ECU already had the maps for e85 so they just had to add a flex fuel sensor.

With the stock turbo? I run an E85 blend with the Loba pump on my TTRS without issue. I thought United Motorsports (?) had a full E85 tune for the mk2.

The track was just cleaned and the wind was blowing in the right direction. The R/T sucked but I wanted to get a perfect launch.
