Shot in the dark - Anybody know a good Volvo forum

Hi all,

In addition to using this site to assist in finding an A4 for myself, I've now been recruited to help my father find a new used Volvo.

Since this site has been so helpful, in particular, the buyers guide thread, I was wondering if anyone knew of an active and informative Volvo Forum that I could use? I've googled and check out a few but none of them seem active.

Just incase someone has the vehicle he's looking at in particular and has a valid "DO NOT BUY" please say so (I'm thinking oil consumption or worse issue). He's searching out a 2012 or 2013 s60. he's owned a number of Volvos but isn't net savvy or interested in using forums so its on me.

picked up a 2012 s60 w/roughly 52k miles. seems to have been kept in good shape.

now its back to my a4 search.

There are no good Volvo forums. Not compared to the many, many Audi and BMW forums. But a friend has Volvos, and I've always gotten decent help at https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/

I used swedespeed when I had my '12 S60. How do you like the car? To be honest, I found it to be a great car (interior, SENSUS system, comfort) compared to my A4, EXCEPT in one major, important area....driving dynamics. It just doesn't drive as well as an Audi. :)

I really like the new Volvo V90 R-Design.

If Volvo can sell a bad ass wagon here in the US, why the hell cant Audi give us the RS4 and RS6 Avants!

since its my dads car, I won't be driving that often if ever. I did drive it for the first week to get a sense of the options and figure out all the computer controls so I can explain it all to him. his last 4 cars were all volvos so he's happy - his last newest was an 2008 s80. Ive driven a few of them over the years and this one is definitely in the top of the ones I've driven. this one is a turbo and a bit shorter than the 08 s80. I do like the ride and it was a deal. having just picked it up from our mechanic, he mentioned the car is in great shape. Actually thought about maybe searching out another one for myself if I get tired of searching for an A4.

what is the SENSUS system you mentioned? (if its the computer system, that sucker is complex. still haven't figured out how to link up cell phones.)
