Well I figured it was time for someone to properly build one of these stateside. Can't let kaggy have all the fame.

Nice...but add some performance upgrades like an APR stage-1 tune, and some upgraded anti-roll bars......
Where did you get the mirrors from?
Are the mirrors power folding? and that's why you have to upgrade the Central Electrical Control Module J519 ?

I don't plan on doing power mods until I am past the warranty period. I am already eyeing apr or revo k04 kit. I have seen both in done in South America already. Not sure why they are not advertised here.

The mirrors are indeed power folding. I picked them up along with the carbon fiber rsq3 trim on ebay uk. They came from an rsq3 in Amsterdam. This requires the entire mirror assembly (with motors), the modules, and the switch to be swapped. I found info about it here:

I've already thrown on the plate delete, paint matched ambers, and carbon fiber trim.

Boy those pieces alone have really given the car a much more euro look. Will post pics tonight!

Can’t wait to see the mods! What wheel specs are u going with? Shopping around for wheels myself but can’t quite dial what range off offset it can fit

Looking at 20x9.5 et35 but not final. I know that one of tag Motorsports threads had a white q3 on 20x9.5 et 40 with 5mm spacers to give it a final et of 35. Should look exactly the same. Might try to squeeze something a touch more aggressive but well see !

Well purchase for wheels fell through since buyer would only accept payment as friends and family. So I went ahead and did a thing to fill the void. Big thank you to Mike at Remus here in NorCal.

Got the remus exhaust on today. Only a tad louder than stock but definitely added some throat to exhaust note and those fun shift farts.

getting the door cards off was a bit of a pain but with a trim removal kit it was a hell of a lot easier. programmed the power fold as well. video to come!

On a side note I found a seller (tom at crewe audi in the UK) that can get me a red rsq3 push start button. Apparently it is different than other models that are more common. details to come.

A deciding factor in getting this car was because I wanted to start a build that by default was going to be different than a lot of the other Audi builds. That, and I really want an RSQ3, so this is the next best thing...until its released in the States 2019

There are only about 2 other decent Q3/RSQ3 builds and they are in the Europe. Figured I could start the trend here! Glad you are enjoying it!

Received the pedals from Europe today. As I have discovered the dead pedal is unique to the Q3/RSQ3 but the gas and brake are common with VW Tiguan. Its the same pedal! good for future reference. If I had known that I probably could have gotten them cheaper stateside, though I got them at a good price nonetheless

Second round of mods (interior bits) has finally arrived. Big thats to Tom from Crewe Audi in the UK for helping source the RSQ3 red push start button and OEM ashtray.
