2002 A6 C5 service repair manual help

Looking for a service manual which will give me step by step instructions, so I can repair my own 02 A6 3.0L

Have seen quite a few options and want to hear from you, Audi experts, your recommendation.

I think Bentley is the undisputed king of repair manuals. I haven't even heard of your first two options and Chilton is very limited in it's information. If you want the most complete guide get a Bentley and pair it with alldatadiy.com, ELSA Win or any other repair software.

I use Elsawin as a friend already had purchased the disc. I like it but it doesn't have everything. A couple of pages missing here and there which ends up being frustrating. I'd say for my 02 allroad it was about 95% complete. Even with it missing a few pages I have never gotten stuck as there is a lot of info in forums regarding torque values and other DIYs. It's cheap on eBay so I guess you get what you pay for.

If I didn't have this already and were to buy a manual I would get Bentley. Seems like the most widely used and respected manual.

I was able to snag up a Bentley manual locally from a guy who happened to have an extra for $70. Just keep your eye out and you should be able to snag one for a decent price.

Just bought the bentley manual. I find its old fashioned and kind of complicated. It also doesnt have a whole lot of information for the rs6.
