However, it is still recommended to speak with your local dealership to see if they have any remaining parts and to schedule an appointment. Please let me know if you have questions.
I visited my local dealership twice last year regarding this issue and have been turned away! I bought my 2013 S4 in May of 2016, activated my T-Mobile SIM card and added Sirius and Audi Connect plans. When I noticed 2G on the dash after T-Mobile did their thing I researched and identified the issue! I was surprised that I was denied the upgrade because all the things that were needed to qualify for the upgrade were in place for me. The first time I was denied they told me that it was because I was did not have an active Audi Connect account but that wasn't true. Ultimately I was told it was because I was not the original owner of the vehicle! I regrouped to find that other non-original owners did get upgrades and some did not! I returned to the same dealership to try again and the second time I was told that my car "does not qualify/is not eligible for the upgrade! Both visits were before July 2017.
Un frickin believable!!
I have stopped trying to connect to my S4's WiFi because 2g is worthless! I wrote a letter to AoA, never sent it... This is my 4th Audi, but it is my first used one! Should I include the 3 other Audis that friends of mine bought after seeing mine?
AoA should know how many vehicles were made that would need the upgrade and teaming with Audi Connect they could see the active subscriptions. Audi and T-Mobile should also 'know' roughly how many of these replacement units were needed... It is quite frustrating not being able to use features OR get them fixed!!
