so what do you guys think of this Eurodune Stage 1/2 (Eurodyne Reflash - With Powertap Flash Tool) Vs. the Chipewerke (power commander ) plug in tune ?

I have the Chipewerke now but I don't like how I can no raise the red-line etc.

    Any ideas ? (i'm 6-speed manual)

    Thanks

So I drove my 2014 S5 6-speed with the chipewerkes chip on 1 5 ( the stage 2) with only an intake and looking at the P3 the vehicle was requesting around 11-12 PSI at peak. I then removed the chip and installed the Eurodyne stage 1 93 oct ( said to be the stage 1.5 tune) and now see 14ish PSI at peak on the P3. The car feels faster and smoother for sure. I actually am feeling like I may need to get a new clutch soon because the car doesn't like hole shot drops or anything like that, especially after I shift it into second ( revs right up to readline). So, that being said, I think the car is making a lot more power, and now I love my car more than ever. MPH governor is removed and redline is raised too. So speaking of redline at around 6,000 rpms the supercharger has a crazy sweet sounding and loud whine, the car didnt do it before the Eurodyne tune and the car still pulls but I usually shift around 7000 or 7200 at most ( P3 Shift light FTMFW)

Shit, thanks for the update. ... I know I will be getting this soon. Again just the cost alone is what is pulling me in to the darkside.

its worth the extra $200-$300, its really better, and I really like the higher rpms, I dont hit rev-limter and it really pulls and Whines up top in the rpms. also I really like just having the ability to quickly get above 150 - quickly too. . . not that I really push it that far

Are you measuring mechanical boost via vacuum line or from the obd readout.?

I went from stage 1 to stage 2 with the cts pulley. stage 1 felt stockish until you hit 4000rpm but once the pulley went on it gained a decent amount of torque down low. i have a p3 gauge but its not hooked up to any vacuum lines so its just reading requested boost. max ive seen is 17 psi. 184mm crank pulley going on soon. and yah you have to take it easy with the clutch. especially in dynamic mode. but from what i read the ss clutch line helps alot with stock clutches.

Does anyone have more logs? as previously stated one person said it seemed like the tune was incomplete based on the one log that was provided earlier in the thread.

Hello, I just purchased a complete Stage 1/2 and TCU tune with Powertap bundle from Eurodyne. Going to flash the Stage 1 for a little warmup then install my 180 mm CTS crank pulley and run the Stage 2 93 octane file.

I have lots of buddies who have tuned s4s (all b8.5, DSG) with different tuners, such as EPL and APR. I would love to see if anyone has any dyno numbers of the Stage 1 or Stage 2 @93 octane files with the DSG tune just to compare how close the numbers from the website and to compare against the other tuners.

Just on the Eurodyne website and it does not appear that Maestro is available for the b8 or b8.5 yet. Can this be confirmed?

A few pages back said that it will be avail just no ETA.

I would like to see some 1/4 times as well as dyno sheets.

I would rather just buy maestro straight up and have it custom tuned. Which is holding me back from buying all the shit I want. I am all for OTS tunes, but every car is diff, every cars location is diff with outside air temps being diff so how in the hell can tuners make one tune for all. Just makes no sense.

Or are they just upping the boost and adding fuel? :shrugs

I have the power tap cable and when I go into the maestro functions it identified my ecu and asked for 3 credits to unlock maestro so I assume it is available but I haven't bought it to try. I can confirm on my 2012 b8 there is stage 1, 1.5, 2, and dual pulley tunes available (91 or 93 octane) as well as the TCU tune.

Ive ran the stage 2 91 tune for a while now and recently got the TCU tune. It performs great and offers stock driveability with lots of added power.

The DSG tune smoothed out rolling stops and shifts noticeably faster under WOT it also brought up shift RPM. Both tunes are 100% worth it in my opinion. I will be going dual pulley shortly and when I do I'll log and post it up for whoever wants to take a look.

Thats why youre seeing the difference in boost. The cw spoofs the boost so youre seeing a fakse reading. You're gettting thecsame boost withvcw and any good stage 1 tune because both close the bypass 100% of the time

So how much extra is it for this after already owning the tuning suite? Also yes I would like to know how to tune with this system and what else is able to be changed etc ?

i always thought you would log your car and then send in the file and get it tweaked by eurodyne but it looks like you have to tweak it yourself? hence the name maestro i guess.
i can comment on the dual pulley though. i finally got it all done last week with the plm intercooler and reservoir and 184mm crank pulley. to be honest it almost feels like it lost some top end but that could just be the increased torque not letting me feel that pull up top. but you do get a fair amount of low end torque now. you can feel the torque increase even before 2000rpm and the pulley i got isnt even considered to be that large so i could imagine how much more torque a pulley closer to 190mm would be. stock clutch is still holding as well no slippage. requested boost only went up by 1 psi though and seems to be bleeding off the higher the rpm climb. i know its not actual boost but it must mean something...

So the only way to tweak up the Dual Pulley tune to increase power is through maestro? I know other tuners like EPL send out performance upgraded tunes for stage 2 and stage 2+ but I don’t think Eurodyne does that

Maestro is a tuning suite. Either you or a tuner modifies a base file for your custom tune.

when i did some searching most people just used stock plugs. it seemed the guys that used different plugs were the ones that logged they're cars often and were able to see what gap worked best for them. some plugs even took different gap sizes for different cylinders. that was all too much for me so i just slapped in some stock ones and they seem to be working just fine

Hey guys, really interested in this tune! Just have 3 questions.
    1. Any solid feedback on TD1/voiding warranty?
    2. Also, any feedback on increased fuel consumption (im assuming theres in increased in fuel consumption. If that's confirmed, how much worse is it from stock)
    3. Lastly, how does this tune compare to Chipwerke tunes?

    Thanks In advance!

Mpgs suck to begin with, no idea about td1, but you can flash back to stock at your own whim

    3. Lastly, how does this tune compare to Chipwerke tunes?

    Thanks In advance!
Didn’t have any issues with this tune in regards to any of my warranty stuff. Got my car back in July 17 since then, got my water pump, oil pump, and timing tensioners done with the convenience of flashing back to stock with this tune. Currently stage 1, going stage 2 in the summer and couldn’t be happier with this tune. The chipwerke doesn’t compare to this in my opinion. Also, I’m all highway on my car, with the tune, I’m averaging anywhere from 22-26 mpg according to my car.

Just checked the website, and the product is there. But it also says:

    Available base files:

    Stage 1 (for stock hardware)
Stage 2 (for 57mm supercharger pulley)
Dual pulley (for 183mm crankshaft and 57mm supercharger pulleys)

So if i buy maestro it comes with all the above for me to swap as I please? if so fuck thats a helluva good ass deal

You dont need to buy maestro, to get the stage 1, stage 2 and dual pulley files (all 91 and 93 oct). You get all those with the powertapp system.

yah after driving around for a bit im liking it more and more. you can get ahead of traffic effortlessly. you dont even have to wind the car up anymore. lots more usable torque below 3 grand where it lacked in stage 1 and stage 2. as for gas milage in the city its pretty bad. mixed driving im lucky to get 350km to the tank. highway i managed 550km.
