The raised white letters look way to NASCARish, and seem more suitable on a Camaro or a Mustang IMO. That being said, if you end up doing it on your Audi please post pics,

I think most use markers now. I'm almost always positive or silent here. But damn, I hate the white letters. Different/tinkering is fun... but I think they look terrible. And why draw the eye to your tires. But of course, play play play 😁

100% Agree with Mops on this, white letters should be saved for 1960's American muscle, zee Germans vould neva approve of zis.

White letter were definitely still a fade in the 80's and was better when you could afford a major manufactures high end tire.

I have to agree white letters on an Audi, no not so much.....however I would love to see how this new offering from Pirelli would look.

Good thing it says "TIRES" in big white letters. But maybe this trend will have one benefit of making people more aware of paying for better tires.

I did white letters on a white S5 last summer and really loved it. Just personal preference. It's your car.

depends on the theme of your car. if u have a racecar look ( full cf kit ) with some aggressive wheels and drop, I think it works. not on a stock looking s5.

I cannot stand them on my truck tires either. Pisses me off when BFG only offers RWLs in a spec I turn them in and dip them. Even seeing the white on the inside bugs me bad. Front dipped, rear not lol....

That's what I thought I've been seeing as of late. Seems easier and more precise too? May take longer I assume though.

yup exactly, much easier to apply/touch up. Also looks better since you are painting over the "stock lettering"

Seems to work well on a white car with a few carefully chosen body decals. I don't mind it at all. Depends on the execution. Gutsy move though.
