I contacted Audi North America, and they confirmed it was the only one in the US produced in this color for 2013.

It use to be part of the color pallet on the B8 A4/A5 cars and I may have seen it on a B8 S5 before. It's a pretty neat color overall and definitely unique.

I want the RS5 grill but dont want a black one. Nervous that the chrome ones will not look good either. Cant justify the price without knowing for sure.

My two cents - I'd say leave the current grill as is. Love an RS grill, but every one and they mamas do an rs grill - the S5 grill loos so good as is and it retains those perfect OEM lines. Ecodes are a must, but yeah no grille needed in my very humble opinion.

This what it’s been missing .. perfect color rims to match the paint and the right drop .. outstanding

I also agree with HMS on the RS grille .. unless it’s the Quattro version that’s not as common

I was very hesitant to go with the gloss black grill as the exterior color is so light in the sun, but decided it would be easy enough to go back if I didnt like it. What do y'all think?

Maybe a dumb question but i saw in one pic you had the stock front plate mounted to the stock s5 grill. Other pics you had it off - did you just remove and plug the holes or did you another s5 grill to replace it?

I can't stand the front plate but i know it's drilled in so not sure how bad it looks with it off.

I took the plate off and ran it with the holes until putting this one on. That was part of the reason I decided to make the change.

i may end up doing the same - car looks great btw really dig those wheels with the new paint scheme. Did you get the RS grill through ECS or somewhere else? Hard pill to swallow at $1k...but i'm coming from modding bikes where everything is cheaper haha
