Audi Beam Rings or Quattro Logo

Alright, I didn't spec my vehicle out with these and probably wouldn't have. However now that I have them, the light that leaks around the logo is annoying. It didn't start out that bad but now it looks like the cheap Chinese ones.

I'll post an actual photo when it gets dark. Anyone else have this issue?

I was sent an email by Audi advertising there for my other vehicles. Just reminded me about it.

The light itself burns the little piece that projects the image on the ground. I have aftermarket Audi rings but they come with replacement sets for when they fade.

So they're basically bound to degrade over time?

best way to fix it is...

take that ricey shit off and replace it with a plain LED bulb. :D

Yes. Mine came with free lifetime replacements.

Thanks for the replies. I'll deal with it then. Maybe try to get it replaced under warranty before selling the vehicle.

I got the rings and DEFINITELY happy that the car came with those vs quattro. I didn't select that option, but I freakin' love it. That said, see the earlier thread about me considering putting a fu^&ing stripe down my car, so my taste is questionable.

I didn't select the rings option when ordering, what is the default?

I just have plain ol' lights...and I had every option on mine...so it must be a super special option.

Yep. Theres some options that u cant tick off. Like the resonator delete is a factory option. U cant choose it but the dealer can when they order

That makes sense. I just told the dealer find me a mythos black with red interior and they pulled one from the port going to another dealer.

Do these lights come as part of the ttrs automatically? Do I need to special order? Is this a dealer option? I called Audi customer service, and was of limited assistance, believe it or not.

As mentioned, it was a default option on my TT RS. They come on when you open the doors.
