B7 with a spoiler??

I recently picked up my first Audi, an 06 a4. I live in the north east and feel that almost every other car on the road is an Audi. I figured I wanted to set my car apart from the rest. Why? Idk. Soooo I was looking at installing a small lip spoiler but found they were extremely expensive for just a bit of small plastic, so I took a trip to the junk yard and now this is what I have.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit with the body, however it did take hours of sanding, painting, and gluing and still isn't 100% complete. Just curious as to what actual Audi fans think. Anyone else do a diy spoiler also?

Not my cup of tea.. i like duck bill.. but imo rear looks like a mazda or something.

Yucky! but to each their own. I would have gone with the trunk lip. I know, I know everyone has them, but I think they look great!

Lol. I agree the lip is definitely a clean look, but I just couldn't resist for only $20

I'm not crazy about it either, but I give you props for trying something different. I have the ECS lip (~$30?) that's color matched, but would have gone duck bill if they made one for non s-line at a reasonable price

Lip spoiler or bust for me. Not a fan of turning my Audi into a shopping cart lol. But props to you for being so brave, hahahaha. Are you going to color match it or keep it black?

Does your trunk lid open? Appears to be mounted across the trunk on the inside of each rear fender.

Yea, it's just attached to the trunk, there's a tiny gap to keep it off the fenders

I love it!

Personally, the wing looks better than I would have imagined, but I'd prolly go with that wannabe RS4 spoiler lip.

honestly it looks good, but it's the wrong generation part on the wrong generation car.
Color matched, and it wont be that bad. Pretty sure that 95% of people wont notice that is an non-oem part.

''sporty'' sedan with spoilers was cool in the 90', now the trend is more like in the sleeper way ( ok, not the new type R, but this is an exeption)

I love the look of this kind of spoiler on the 4th gen maxima.

Nooooo I was planning on getting one sooner than later. I hope they bring it back. Otherwise I'll just have to live with the OEM DTM spoiler I have on my old car's S-line trunk lid, whevener I get around to getting that painted that is!

I wanted the DTM but couldn't justify spending $1,000 for one so I'm rocking the EBAY Carbon Fiber spoiler and it's pretty good. I'm definitely a fan of that^ duck bill spoiler!

RS3 sedan is available at your local Audi dealer right now. They've been available for the last month or two in the states but mostly by special order.
