The stock calipers are not great looking. I'd just keep em their original color and focus on other areas you can properly improve. Or - replace them with a proper BBK

Between the two I would personally go gloss black. I feel like satin black would always look like it had brake dust on it

Stock colors if stock calipers. Otherwise go glossy

To me, any non-metallic color should go gloss.

Do you guys repaint the S4 logo after painting the calipers?

I have gloss black. It's nice to be stealth rather than flashy.

I agree, stealth is the way to go.

Don't go black...please. Red (however traditional) would pop very nicely. It's classic and it clean. And for god sakes please have this professionally done! You'll be so happy you took the time to get PC'ed. Here is a before and after on my B6 S4. The bolder colors like orange, lime green, electric blue, etc. are nice and eye catching but my experience is people get sick of the color after a while. Powder coating is too time consuming to throw away on a color you'll "get tired of" after a while. So my vote is powder coat either red or silver. Those two colors will pop nicely on a black on black car.

Let's us know what you settle on.

I went gloss black PC on my Calipers and really like it. I was also going for more of an understated look. Didn't want to draw attention to my not so big brake kit.

Gloss when picking from your two choices or consider silver if you want to go stealth. However, I encourage you to go with one of the flashier colors.

On the stock calipers, I believe the logo is simply a part of the anti-rattle caliper clip that could potentially be masked before painting, especially if going with silver.

That looks great. Did you have it professionally done? If so, who did it?

Looks good, clean, simple. I can't tell from your pictures, but if you have angle vented rotors make sure they are installed on the correct side. If the vents aren't slanted I don't believe it matters.

Red ... and after seeing the silver, I rescind my "silver" suggestion with the silver wheels.

Yeah, silver blends in too much. The pictures help a lot.
