This video is a little surprising it's that close.

This video is BS. I own them both and the GT-R is on a different world than the TT-RS. At least as far as sheer acceleration (or anything related to going fast are concerned). The TT shines with interior, and driveability.

All in all, the GT-R is about a second faster in the 1/4 mile.

I agree. Also they didn't use lc on the gtr. 0-60 of 3.26?! With lc it's actually very consistent and repeatable. I guess same could be said for the ttrs also. But still. Gtr has near 991 turbo s type of launch... should beat ttrs from the get go.

Most magazines are testing the GT-R in the 11.1 to 11.3 second in the quarter mile. We see about 11.6 to 11.8 seconds for testing of the TTRS. The GT-R does anywhere from 2.9 to 3.1 (vast majority being in the 2.9 to 3.0 second range for 0-60 and the TTRS is testing in the 3.4 to 3.5 second range.

Just got that video from a buddy of mine. Funny to see it here on the forum as well. Yea, I call BS on that video, but that's just based on my opinion. I think they were doing everything right on the TT-RS and everything wrong on the GT-R just to make it a reasonably close race. I get it, the underdog isn't THAT much slower, that's the whole point of the video...but when you show the TT-RS shooting out in front like that when the GT-R's 0-60 time is inherently quicker in all ways, shapes, and forms....you lose your credibility.

The video is more misleading than surprising. Two different types of cars and the GTR is the faster one.

The TT RS is much better looking then the GT R, however, that os my opinion. Both are great cars. The GT R looks dated to me.
