For a K04 you will want 386cc injectors at a minimum if you will be tuning the ECU.

The injectors are specified by the tune you will be running, and each tuner has their preference.

386cc, 440cc, and 550cc are the three most popular options.

I run 440cc injectors on a K04 but I'm tuned for it. It runs very well. I know people mentioned there could be misfire/idle issues but my car runs great and pulls very strong. I also run a step colder plugs at factory gap.

Your turbo is most likely the current limitation for making more power.

If you can take a log of the engine performance, you can verify Injector Duty Cycle. If this value exceeds 95% then you may gain more power by using 440cc injectors and an adjustment to your ECU tune.

Thank you. When consulting 034 and motoza 440 cc spray pattern was not good, it was said that there are only 386 cc files.

The injector should be paired with the tune. Having said that reaching 300hp with just injectors and a k04 is quite literally impossible. Maybe with a hybrid turbo but even then...

I was told that motoza and 034 TT 225 386 cc songs are safe. The green giant 440 cc was told that K04 was hypersensitive and the spray pattern was useless.

The spray pattern is important. Its not the turbo that is sensitive, its the ECU.

386s and 550s are the preferred injectors these days. The green giants aren’t really used anymore.

Only reason I went with 440cc is because I found some used on eBay from an S60R and a friend of mine rebuilds/flow tests/cleans injectors and owed me a favor, so I literally paid $75 for injectors and had them totally rebuilt with new filters, seals, the whole nine and then flow tested. All were within spec.

Malone Tuning tuned the car for me.

the green giant injectors aren't faulty, the issue is different spray patterns favor different intake port shapes and lengths. with our 20v heads the 440cc green giants although CHEAP, like $150 a set of 4 new, they don't perform as well as an injector with a favored spray pattern. thus tuning can be a challenge so i've read.

some injectors even spray in two directions...essentially spraying a V which may benefit some port shapes.

I believe its more about atomization which could cause challenges. But most turners should be able to scale them properly. My car runs flawlessly. Could it maybe run better with 386cc or 550cc? Probably, but I'm not sure how much difference you would feel. Below is a neat video showing the spray pattern of stock injectors VS 440cc

440cc is easy to cool the plug. 386 cc is optimum and it is clean up to 300 hp

There are a lot of fake chinese green 440s online now, is probably the main reason to avoid them.

I read though this thread and I'm not sure what the OP is trying to accomplish.

Goa, there is no need to change your injectors if you are running 386cc injectors with a K04-015.

Yes, you may need more injector for 300 HP, however it's a non-issue with a K04-015 as that turbo will never flow enough air to outstrip the amount of fueling that the 386cc injectors offer.

Kind of like saying if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle..
