Smart Performance
The PASSPORT 9500ci will vary its sensitivity based on the speed of the vehicle. At interstate speeds, all radar bands are at full sensitivity. At slower speeds, X and K-band sensitivity is reduced, but providing plenty of range at that speed. Parked or at a stop light, the 9500ci is smart enough to know that you're not at risk and will only alert if a real threat is present. This is truly the smartest detector ever!
Mark Location
The PASSPORT 9500ci's "Mark Location" feature enables the customer to manually mark known speed traps, camera locations, or anything else worth noting. Once stored in its memory, the 9500ci will provide sufficient warning for all of these points of interest.

You can even back up your data or update the detector's operating software, (firmware), if needed. The database is updated weekly, and Escort provides 3 years of downloadable updates for free.

Purchased new from and professionally installed by Cartronics in Franklin TN (https://cartronics.audio/) in my B8 S4 when I was commuting more than 140 miles a day. Removed from vehicle when it was turned in (lease) and has been stored since. Decided not to install on my current vehicle. Everything is in working order and in great condition (connectors are undamaged, insulation on all wires not damaged).
