Does anyone know if it’s possible to leave the car running and lock it from the outside. It gets annoying when it’s over 90degrees, it takes my car sometime to cool off and if I stop and go to the store, 10 min later my car is hot again.

Would anyone with an OBDeleven be willing to send me screen shots of all settings?

I under what I did but now I have a malfunction that keeps popping up. I don’t get it. And my auto high beams are inactive.

Hello everyone, i picked up my C7.5 A6 yesterday and did some coding. One thing thats missing that I loved on my MK7 GTI and the 8v S3 was the ability to enable the locking and unlocking capability while the ignition is on. I searched and it seems as though this isn't possible with the C7/C7.5 vehicles?

    Hi,
I assume you are referring to the auto locking of the doors above 5kms and unlocking when then ignition is switched off? This option is available in the MMI settings on my UK A6 C7.5 so no need for adaptation:
Vehicle Settings --> Lock when driving

What I miss is the ability to move the electric passenger seat via the MMI and had this on my A5 years ago. It was great and had 2x options to either mirror the drivers seat position or to maximise visibility and it moved the seat back and down. It seems Audi have taken away quite a few MMI features that used to be available to owners, perhaps simplifying things and hiding away the goodies! Wish I could turn these back on!

Also not finding the Copy to Juke Box great as every CD/DVD I put in refused to copy. Working in this as it must be possible...

Is there a proper way to turn off the amber side market without it throwing a code? I have a 13 and and when I code it to turn off I get a code on the dash that says ligjts out/check light.

I haven’t seen anything allowing you to leave the car running. I know in past years there have been some who have been able to install a remote starter. Not sure if this is possible on newer models.
If you push and hold the fan button it will circulate the air and keep the fan running for 20 minutes (I think). Not perfect but it seems to help. It works better in the cold than the heat.

I'm having an issue with finding proper channels in adaptation for many mods. I have a 2017 RS7 and when I bring up the proper adaptation and look for the channel it shows me sub channels, i.e. I'm looking for channel 8 and all I have is 8a, 8b, etc. I'm using a Ross-tech cable. Anyone else had these issues or know the fix?

Ross-Tech does not have all of the modules mapped out for the facelift cars. Many of my modules are unmapped and the longcoding helper is unavailable. It appears that Ross-Tech has known about this issue for 2 years and hasn't bothered to correct it. I have sent all of my scans to them in an attempt to help them map everything and I have seen on their forums where others have as well.

You followed the coding direction on the Google doc at the beginning of this thread? I just did it on my '14 and had no issues with the amber side markers.

Used my vagcom to code an A6 c7 and my own S7 yesterday, and coded lap timer mode in both, but it will not show in the display on my S7, is it to old for this mode? worked fine on the A6 BiTdi.

    Couple questions:
    1) are the codes listed in the new google docs file all inclusive of what’s in the OneDrive file and more up to date? I’m on mobile and can’t open the OneDrive file.
    2) I was surprised to see Video in Motion listed in the linked file with no discussion in the thread other that folks complaining it wasn’t possible to set it without the paid app in OBDEleven. Assume it’s been sorted out and was just covered in other threads?

Thanks for the info. Going to make a bunch of changes tomorrow with my new OBDEleven!

I plan to move this to Excel at some point and organize the mods by location (i.e. 09 - Cent. Elect). Just trying to come up with a layout that suits everyone. I will be asking for feedback soon.
Sorry if I have missed it but is there any updated version of the list?

Hey guys, haven’t come across this anywhere but maybe it’s been asked or figured out... is there a way to disable the locking of the fuel tank in the C7 S6? It’s annoying that every time I want to open the fuel tank I need to unlock the car with the remote. Is there a way to disable that feature?

My research to get VIM to work took me here:

    https://trick77.com/tools/mmi3g_vimcode.php

It didn't work for me, but if this process works for any C7/C7.5 for enablnig VIM the VCDS link should be updated.

Interesting. So I'm clear, this is what I'm referring to in the google docs document linked in the first post. From everything I've read, I hadn't heard anyone had cracked the Video in Motion code. Can someone confirm this works when making this change using VCDS/Vagcom?

    VIM (Video in Motion)

Yes. Initially it will stay on for about 3 seconds (I can't find how to increase this part of it, but supposedly it is possible), but if you code the below, and you pull the stalk while stopped it will add another 15 seconds...you can repeat pulling the stalk as many times as you wish.

    13 - Auto Distance Regulator.
    16 - Security Access. Try security code:91153
    10 - Adaptation.
select "Driving off without Driver Trigger After Short Stop"
    select Yes
select "Starting off with pre-trigger by driver "
    select Yes

Also, if you change the coding from US to ROW on the same module, plus the 8E module, and I think it was ACC 2 module as well, the maximum speed for ACC increases to 250 km/h that you can use it (up from 140 km/h).

Does anyone know how to lower the Active Lane Assist activation speed from 65 km/h? I can't seem to find the thread again that had the information (not sure if it was on Audizine or another forum). Also can't find the thread again to get rid of the door open warning chimes. It is possible, as I had it coded that way prior to going to the dealership and they cleared all the coding.

Can you please help me understand what you want to change? My ACC works great in stop and go traffic. After stopping, all I have to do is tap the gas or pull the cruise control stalk to resume.

Is there anything I can adjust in either OBD11 or Vagcom that would keep the rear spoiler up at all times, or change the values when it rises and lowers??
Love the look if it up and its the first button I press when getting in the car, lol.

    Cheers

Had the same question when I saw this. And just learned that I can resume with the stalk! Thanks!

To clarify, mine'll stay on "standby" as long as I allow it. I'd say about half the time, I step on the brake to auto-stop the engine.

I may have missed this earlier in the thread, but is there a way to adjust the auto stopping transition? Sometimes the engine'll stop before the car has come to a complete stop, which is a pain when traffic has just started moving again.

Have you replaced the belt tensioner igniters post accident? Also your airbag module is either not connected, or not coded / reset.

Look here for the procedure: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...i_10.43_Airbag

What do you mean? I put the parking brake on in park all the time, and it always engages. I've also done it in neutral and reverse as well. 2016 A6.

I think he means he wants to have the parking brake go on automatically when he puts the car in Park.

OHHHHHHHH... that make sense. The B9 loaners I had did that on inclines, which I thought was cool.

NEW: VagCom VCDS Mod List for C7-C7.5

Hey Guys having a bit of trouble

I have enabled boot closing from drivers door/remote via obdeleven. It opens and closes from the drivers door button. But when I try to use the remote to open it (open works fine) and then try to close it via remote it doesn’t work.
When the boot is open and I press the boot button on remote

1 press - you can hear it unlocking
1 press then hold - makes a sound and then goes down bout 1-2inches and just stops there.

I have disabled and the re enabled it again, but still doesn’t work properly.

    Anyone know what’s going on?

Update I managed to get it to work, After disabling and then re enabling it again

On my S6 it's not in the MMI it's in the cluster. You access it from the menu button on the left side of the steering wheel. Scroll to the bottom for laptimer.
