Thinking about buying used Audi A4 B8, but not sure on which exactly.

Hello.

I'm really keen on buying an used Audi A4 B8 limousine up to ~11000 Euro, I was planning to go with a diesel (2.0 TDI), but there is no quattro of this engine that is under 2.0 before ~2012 I think.
So the case of getting the TFSI 2.0 with quattro comes in. Which one would you take?
Also I'll be searching for the car like a month, because I want to find something in good condition that wasn't messed around with, I guess.

There are definitely 2.0 TDI quattros before 2012, mine is a 2010 B8 A4 Sedan with the 2.0 TDI 170hp engine.

If there are none nearby you i would just take a roadtrip over to germany and import one, thats what i did because i really wanted my car in Garnet Red Pearl and was unable to find one here.

I live in Poland, but getting the car from for example Germany is fine for me. You know any offers with a 2.0 TDI quattro 2008-2010 just so I can see that there is really one?

Mine is a Sedan/Limousine/Saloon, but there are also wagons, the wagon with the 2.0 TDI is probably one of the more common cars around where i live.

Oh ok I guess there actually is just no automatic in TDI quattro so thinking about a manual in tdi quattro then I guess.

Btw. What about the failure? Bad things happen more often to the 2.0 tdi or 2.0 tfsi?
And also if the autimatic gearbox then only Tiptronic/Stronic?

In all seriousness, when I had my previous 2012 B8 quattro, I took it in for service once and they gave me a loaner. The loaner was a 2011 CVT non sport package with tan interior and it just felt all kinds of wrong. The feel I equated with Audis all these years is directly connected to quattro and a sports package of some kind. Without those two - this loaner just felt like it could have been a heavy camry or something. I was really surprised how different and lower market it felt. I'm now back in a 2013 B8.5 quattro sports package and that Audi goodness is right back home with me :)
