Just f'd and curbed my front passenger rim. Is there a decent diy way to fix this or so I need to find a shop to take it to?
Anyone in the Portland, OR area know of a good shop?

You can try and DIY but probably will be hard to paint match exactly. Having someone else do it should only be $80ish to have it done professionally

I just dealt with this actually. $100 will get you a near perfect repair using a paint match system. 100% perfect cannot see anything with a magnifying glass will cost you around $200. $100 is mobile... the $200 job must be done at the wheel repair shop. They actually machine the wheel to achieve that perfect machined/cleared look.

In the dark cleaning a barrel. Wheel slipped from my hands and landed face first on the concrete. Broom finished concrete

I was beyond myself. Never ever hurt a wheel. Was just exhausted I think. Had worked outside in extreme heat for over nine hours that day. Didn't even start swapping our wheels until like 8pm and working by flashlight. I knew it was a bad idea.

I'm in PDX also and I curbed a wheel a few wheels ago. There's a place here called wheel doctor who I'm going to use.

Thanks Mops! This makes me feel better! I was expecting $200-$300!

Cool. I will check them out. Found a place called Freeman MotorCo but didn't get a chance to look at prices yet.

Oh nice. They are close to me. I didn't know they refinish wheels.

This is exactly why I don't let family members drive my car. If I caused the damage, then sure I could live with it.

That's why they call curbed rims "Wife Walls"
Just so pissed I did it to my own pulling Uturn when I've been so good not park close to the curb!
