I know some of you have used this brand before. I need something plug and play that works with the Bose radio on my 2006 A4.

I'm tired of my N7 dash install shutting off because of the summer heat.

I always thought those looked dope and wanted to check one out, but never found one somewhere I can just return it without hassle I.E. Amazon prime lol. I have all of the parts and a spare Nexus 7 still chilling I always planned to install, but never got around to it.

Been using a xtron quad core android 5.0 unit since december, no issues at all to report other than a weak gps signal. may be just the crappy antenna it came with, been thinking of wiring it to the shark fin

I'm liking that it's a octacore (although it's slower than even a SD800 I'm sure)

But what's real iffy is the 2gb ram. I'll see what I can strip out of it using root. Hopefully there are some custom roms for it too.

I haven't installed it yet but first impression is that this thing is built pretty solidish. The face is sturdy but the knobs have a little wiggle to them but they don't feel lose or anything. Also there is none of that Audi click tactile buttons. But overall, it's built well. I'll see if I can get to install this real soon.

I love the N7 but this Cali heat is too much for the thing.

Okay so this radio is deff not plug and play. The adapter harness is all wrong lol. The "A3" adapter harness it comes with fits but the red connector doesn't.

Okay to report back, I was dumb and the radio is plug and play. They mislabled the a4 harness as the A3 one. Lol. But the red connector for my Symphony II isn't used. Anyone know what this is for? Could it be by my sub seems to be weak? The other rear speakers sound just fine.

The built in "sub" on the rear deck is basically useless. I installed a legit 2 x 12 box in my trunk and removed the rear deck "sub" and it basically created a port from the trunk into the car. I have had it like this for about 10 years and it sounds great.

I have an Xtron one of these installed in my 06 B7 Non-Bose. My adaptor was also mislabelled as A3. other than that its is more or less plug and play.

When first installed I had no sound from rear speakers and sub, after rechecking RCA's and cords and tuning the system through the master equalizing controls, the thing is awesome.
I have Spotify installed AND can watch John Wick whenever I want. Also a pretty nice equalizer/ sub control. Game Changer.

It looks totally OEM also, apart from the chrome knobs. Set the background to an Audi logo and make the ambience color Red, it fits in perfect. At first I didnt like the chrome I've grown to like it alot.

After a ton of research on XDA Dev and Alibaba Express and basically everything I could gather on Google, not to mention the fact I can return it super easy, I picked this up off amazon.

I should of just waited instead of buying everything for a Nexus 7 install a while back, but at least I can swap some of the equipment over to this setup. Who knows I may end up using it elsewhere. It should be arriving on Friday and if it is garbage, it goes right back to Amazon.
