Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
As you know 2016+ Audi A6,7,8,Q7 have a big upgrades on 3.0TFSI EA837 Engine Gen 4. I'm wondering if we can use 6 port injectors in our engine. This EA837 I think bad ass block and can handle it a lot more then previous model.

12 Injector 6 Indirect and 6 Intake Port
    Upgraded Supercharger
    Upgraded Fuel Injectors
    Crank Case ventilation
Modified bedplate with one vent hole only
    Factory 1mm cast iron sleeve
    Modified Pistons
    Larger Supercharger Intercooler and more

Know we can use standalone unit with thouse Port injectors intake manifold)

    Available mods ?

Our fueling issues aren't due to the high pressure or fuel injectors, its the low pressure side. Our OEM pumps are 450lph, but the bucket design limits its full potential flow. I have a 255lph supplemental pump, I'm actually have lots of headroom in terms of fueling and not yet reached the limitations of injector in terms of injector on-timing.

If I could go back, I would have not installed my Autotech HPFP, it creates a starvation on the low-side at times until my 255lph (boost activated) kicks in. It simply amplifies the OEM's limitations imposed by the bucket design

Thanks for the information, did anyone try to modify the bucket? If we fix the flow from the tank then HPFP will do its job? I'll try and buy a used bucket to analyze if there is an opportunity to improve the flow from the tank. It turns out that the pump is almost like the WALBRO 450LPH FUEL PUMP E85? I had a current on 2.7 Single Turbo and without problems enough for 600whp full E85 with this pump

I think Mike(?) was looking into it, there is a thread about it somewhere.

I have no regrets upgrading to the autotech HPFP, moved my Ethanol percentage ceiling up ~10%.

Bucket mod on the stock LPFP would be awesome if we can figure it out. Cheap and hopefully move that ceiling up even higher.

I had an Audi A4 3.2fsi with swapped 2.7 engine and I did modified the Bucket to install the Walbro pump, just wonder if the B7 bucket is similar to B8.5

Maybe we can adapt the new S4 turbo fuel pump to gain more?
I was told that our limitation wasn't the LPFP (if you have flex pump installed) but the HPFP due to it being driven by the cam lobe? Is that statement correct?
I noticed that if my mixture is over E45, my car throws lean codes with 034 map.

That pdf looks like the CREC engine we have in the UK middle year 14 and onwards S4/S5's. I was told that there are 2 injectors per cylinder (which ties in with 12 injectors) and they were in different places. It also looks like it has the magnetic clutch unit on the supercharger.

Mine tunes quite nicely thank you ;)

Be careful spinning your SC too fast. Already hearing issues about the CREC engines SC's clutch slipping.

Good thing we are starting to look at different cams right?

Here is 3.2 FSI and you can see 3.0TFSI above ^^

I think about this drawing, correct me if I'm wrong. It seems to me that the problem can be in the filter? In our cars the petrol system is adapted with a 3.2FSI motor and almost was not changed only the injectors were modified. The figure shows that the filter has two functions, the filter function and FPR. I heard there 3-4 bars? I plan to check the pressure before the filter and after the filter. If I was right then we can remove it and establish control over the low line pressure just add FPR, set the filter and increase the pressure to 5+ bar. Thank you

I think the aftermarket parts and Stage 2+ type settings will appear on the market soon. Your motor has a lot of advantages than ours. Intercooler larger, a new sensor on it, a completely new fuel system, you will not have problems with the E85, the motor has a sleeve and the pistons have been worked. The tuning potential of this motor has grown much higher! I do not understand why you're not happy) Just wait a little time, will soon release improvements for this engine bro

You have to swap head from the CREC engine! This secondary fuel rail is not a bolt-on. I tried before no luck so JXB and others custom port adapters is the way to go
