    Carbon Fiber Hood Wrap

Had this done about a month ago for my son. Much cheaper than actual carbon fiber hood and as maintenance free as it gets.

the point of a carbon fiber hood is to save front end weight.. and most are vented, which is meant for cooling purposes and to feed the intake direct. not for looks.

I understand the point, kid 18, car has 110k miles and previous owner tried to hide hood scratches with finger nail polish. He's not gonna race the thing and wanted it lo look better. It's all about what's under the hood anyway

that's accurate for about 10% of carbon fiber hood owners.

You must have raised a good kid. No way could I be responsible with an S4 at 18.

Hell, I'm 24 and still doing stupid shit on the road

Granted, I do it out in the middle of nowhere.

This is already his second Audi! First was a 2006 B7 A4 with the 3.2. Needed a bit more reliable (and fun and modifiable) transportation!

Haha. I recognize the TILCON truck next to the car. 18 year old and drives an S4, he fit right in at SHS. I graduated SHS in 2004 and grew up in West Simsbury on Saddle ridge drive. Not a dig but just stating the obvious :)

Reminds me of my first car in high school, my dad got me a Datsun ( not Nissan ) pick up truck, and someone wrapped the fenders in duct tape to cover the rust. Times have sure changed for kids ( and dads ) , lol!

If you live and breathe these cars why wouldn't your kid be driving an audi if you can afford it?
My 5 year old already know who his first car will be. He also washes his R8 (pwr wheels) lol. He is learning to respect and take care of the nice things he has now in preparation for his first Audi ;)

Yes, but the question is "Would he wrap his R8 in Carbon Fiber?"
    Any mods?
