How do I disable rev limiter on a v8 S5?

Hi guys,

I want to make an exhaust video, but the car will not rev past 4k at all. I tried putting it in dynamic and turning off traction (holding the button doesn't seem to make a difference)
I want to capture the whale of the V8, but you can only hear that past 4k.

I have a 2011 tiptronic by the way.

Any advice?

I guess you tried to rev the car when stationary?
You can try:
Let the car warm up, drive the car to 3 mph, put the car in N, rev it.

That didn't work.

Doesn't matter if the car is hot/cold or moving or stationary.
I also noticed that holding down the traction button doesn't bring up the esp off warning on the cluster either.

When I test drove a B8.5 I got the ESP off by holding down the button. If I hold down the button for even 10 seconds on my V8 S5, nothing happens besides the "traction off" light coming up.

During driving no, Just while trying to rev when idle, parked, or in neutral.

Tried the traction control button for 10 seconds and it still only revs to 4k in park or neutral.

I want to record exhaust videos, but can't get a good capture as it only revs to 4k. The good staff is past that.

The only way is to get a tune that removes the rev limiter.

On the b8.5’s it let’s you rev all way up when driving and in neutral, not sure if it’s past a certain speed though or if it’s the same as the b8’s
