Possibly weighing the options of selling my 04 USP... NO PART OUT & NO TRADES, so please don't ask. The wife is pregnant w/ baby #3 on the way so I have to get rid of some toys. I'm in no rush, however, I'm just testing the waters to see if anyone would possibly be interested in purchasing the vehicle.

Specs:

Year: 2004

Model: A4 Quattro Ultra Sport

Mileage: 122,XXX

Transmission: 6 speed Manual

Drivetrain: AWD

Interior: black leather, condition is 9/10

Exterior: Arctic White, condition is 9/10 some blemishes and minor clear coat pealing nothing of major concern.

Water pump & timing belt have been done, has an AEB cylinder head, also has a Stage 1 tune.

Asking: $8000, I will entertain reasonable offers.

Have a question about the AEB cylinder head...How does that work with VVT? Who did the swap and why?

The previous owner did the swap, the cylinder head, water pump, and timing belt were all done at the same time

stewb, maybe I could ask him about how the swap was made?? I would want to understand how that would work, as I was unaware someone could swap a non VVT head with a VVT head.
Maybe it is just a matter of putting a VVT tensioner in the AEB head?? not sure, but would want to understand that before buying a car that the swap was made on.

Absolutely beautiful car sir!!! super jealous as to someone is gonna get a great deal.

Flandog- the aeb swap as noted on the forum is literally a direct swap with not a single
Negative impact whatsoever. There's easily 50+ threads alone on the subject and all have said it's direct.

I have an AEB on my built car as do about every other member roughly. I surely hope that isn't the reason why you wouldn't considering buying this or any 1.8T USP
