What questions would you ask before buying this Audi A4?
It is custom wrapped.
It is 2013 Audi A4.
It has 50k miles.
They asking $20k.

What do you guys think?

Car looks damaged under the front passenger door.

^ both of these questions.

- why are there warning lights on... I thought it was on accessory but it's running so they should be off
- wtf is going on with the passenger head rest
- for a complete mods list since it's clearly got a drop and a bunch of other mods
- if he's a member on any forums so you can research the history
- what color is it under the wrap

It's got nav and B&O and the sports package, it's a nicely equipped car, but it looks like it lived a hard life.

If a manual trans is an option (which it should be) I'd be much more inclined to buy @4ringnut 's car, with the same asking price and without the sketchiness.

Front grill is not aligned. Lower on passenger side. Looks like it was in a wreck. I wouldn't buy it from the pictures alone. Plenty of others out there for that price or less.

Yeh I was talking about the wrapped one. I hate manual cars, i think the manual trans is a relic of the 1900s. Only reason people cling to it IMO is for the cool factor.

Not at all. I've owned 10 cars, 4 of which were manual. It may be slower than a good auto or DCT, but it's a much more involving driving experience and some people prefer that over the convenience and ease of an auto.

He coulda wrapped it to hide damage? BUT, the dust shields are painted as are the calibers so he (or someone) put some attention on it. (not to mention the wrap). If it hasn't been in a wreck, the wrap, fiber tail (real or fake), the rims, lowered and decent interior and aluminum inserts with MMI, it's not the worst deal. Headrest looks like a bad detailing wipe down after he spritz it with leather-shine. Work him over a little on the dent as a now 4-5yr old that looks that good are hard to come by. if the owner when thru that much trouble for mods and touches, he really enjoyed the car and probably didn't abuse it. A good walk over and paperwork would make it a solid deal. B8.5 have the timing chain issue and oil issues corrected. Unless the color under the wrap was beige or puke brown then no deal as the wraps won't last forever. Good luck.

The previous color before the wrap was black.
The car fax shows no accident...clean carfax.
I think the previous owner took good care of the car and did not abuse it.
I think manual cars are driven more rough than a simple automatic.
Also this is a Audi A4...rough drivers would have chosen a sporty version of Audi...not a simple A4.
But you never know.
Looks like the previous owner spent good money on extras...like the car wrap, rims, lowering the car, Carbon fiber spoiler/Diffuser, etc.
I think a basic without any mods...2013 Audi A4 with 50k miles is worth about $17k today.
They probably spent $5k+ in mods.
So i am thinking they priced it correct at $20k.
I am going to buy it very soon unless i can find something better for $20k.
