Milltek Non Resonated Installed on my RS6 ;)

After a long long thought and struggling between Akrapovic and Milltek I decided to go with the Milltek! It just sounds so much more beastly and a lot cheaper :p I don't know why Audi had to make this car so quiet. I remember I was at a garage in town and a technician was like how come this car is so quiet it sounds like a Tesla. I'm like "What?????" I immediately went home and ordered this hahaha. Have to say after installing it I have no regrets at all! It sounds super awesome and it's how this car should sound. The pops and crackles are definitely a lot more enhanced and just overall a lot louder! The thing I like about it is when your in comfort mode it sounds completely chilled! So it really depends on what you're feeling for that day :) I'll post a video soon!!

Waited a month for the package to arrive :)

    Cooling car off before installation.

    Beautiful!!

    Original system . Ewwwwww...

    Old one out :p

    Fitting new one in!

You mean opening and closing valves between comfort and dynamic mode?

Yes and based on my reading their website it looks like it does.

Very reasonable priced. Try to post a sound clip.

Yes it does! It's pretty much a plug and play!
I love how when its in comfort mode it's very reasonable but when you want a little bit of fun dynamic will transform the whole sound of the car!
I'm still not use to it yet coz it gets pretty loud in high revs :p too much attention.

Should have done the sways, inserts and AK whilst it was on lift. Post video once you get a chance. Curious how it sounds in both settings

Isn't that the resonated exhaust? It has the valved resonators just before the tips. And to your point it was S quieter in Comfort mode. The non-resonated exhaust only has one setting- loud.
I have a pic of my non-resonated getting installed but don't see an easy way to post it.
Good luck- I am sure it will sound great! Jealous of the RS6!

It's the non resonated. Those valves are controllable! Will make a clip real soon! The cold start is a bit insane!

Definitely the non-resonated. The difference between the two is in the center section of exhaust. Resonated has an extra resonator/muffler in that section. They both have the valve mufflers.

My RS has the non-resonated and while I enjoyed it at first, I'm finding it a bit loud as the valves open with moderate throttle input and it draws a bit more attention than I'd prefer for my daily use. I'm currently planning to order the resonated center section to knock just an edge off the sound. It sounds MEAN though!

Interesting. Mine has straight pipes at the back before the tips. No box/muffler there. I don't think my account allows to post pics for illustrative purposes for some reason.

Oh yeah? Yeah sometimes the pops and bangs are pretty loud lol. But I wonder how it would sound resonAted. Would it just like comfort mode of non resonAted? Mine screams when I exceed over 3000rpm but I don't always use dynamic mode just to save on gas lol.

If I'm not mistaken, you are somewhere in Bay Area. If so, I can also show my car to you so that you can listen to my exhaust in person. I also have Miltek non-resonated setup and I can assure you that the open and close valves function is intact with Miltek.

Here are some sound clips I posted a year ago.
