    B8 A4 suspension vs s-line

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey Everybody. I'm new to the forum but have been a VW guy for over a decade. I purchased a 2013 A4 almost 2 months ago and I just put some Rotors (19") wheels on it. Loving it but I feel like it looks higher than some of the s-line that I see with the same wheels on. Am I crazy or does the s-line have a little lower of a suspension?

    Pic for attn:

I believe the sline A4s are 20mm lower than stock. My A4 prestige sline looks much lower than pictured.

Yeah the S-Line A4's sit lower than the non-Sline A4's. Your car looks like mine before I lowered it. Here's mine lowered a little over an inch all around on Solowerks coilovers

Thanks for all the replies. My notifications haven't been working for some reason so I thought nobody was actually replying to this thread and then came to check on it! I forgot to mention that it's quattro. I came from heavily modifying my cars before this one and have decided that this one will remain relatively stock which is why i was asking about s-line suspension. Maybe I should look at getting some springs for it then...

OP - Are you sure it's an s-line? My '15 s-line sits lower than your picture with 19" wheels. In your image, can't see any of the other s-line inclusions (headliner, rear valence etc.) to clarify.

Yeah that looks like standard suspension... your car probably has the S-line appearance package. If you post an interior shot (seats and steering wheel) we can confirm whether or not it's a "true S-line."

My car is not an s-line. I'm just wondering if I can pick up the s-line springs and get the s-line height or if they were the same height.

Ha ha...that explains it. If you're just looking for a drop, pick up some springs or, if you want some adjustability go with coilovers.
Do a search in the suspension thread in this A4 section of the forum and you'll get a ton of options to lower.

As soon as I found there WAS a difference between regular and s-line a4's, i started looking around. Thank you for your help!
