Stock to 4" exhaust tips

Has anyone just upgraded their stock exhaust tips? I am looking to upgrade mine to a 4" tip. If anyone has done this if you could post pictures and where you got them from that would be great.

Maybe I am thinking of the 3.5" then. Similar to the AWE or Milltek.

I believe Milltek use 80mm tips which is 3.15" or so...3.5-4" would be massive

AWE uses 102mm tips which is 4".

Try pushing them in a bit and staggering the tips. I think you'll find they look much better if they don't stick out so far.

I traded the car in on Monday. I was very annoyed with AWE as the driver side tip couldn't be moved in any further it was bottoming out. The installer an (AWE dealer) and AWE blamed each other and it never could be adjusted, the installer spent a lot of time trying.

I think it was a manufacturing defect and agree they look much better closer in.

265/30/21. Tires are a bit stretched but 275 wouldn't fit with the drop I run.

I just installed the Milltek Valvesonic with black tips on the S7. The tips are 100mm or approx. 3.9" . These are slightly smaller than the AWE tips.

It's a bad design on AWE's part. The drivers side outer tip sticks out farther than the rest. I cut a relief into the tip barrel and clamp to get it further in.

I used 4" x 3" stainless truck tips and they were a couple days work to get them to fit.

Had to cut stock tips and piping off. Welded flowmaster tips on.

From certain angles I do like them too but just hate the gap between the tips and diffuser. Wished the gaps were filled in more.

I have a Milltek exhaust. Tips are right at 4 inches from outer edge to outer edge. I think they look great personally.

Those do look great. Staggered is the way to go with such big tips.
