Appraisal at Biener's Audi - Great Neck, NY

I walked in the show room and asked for appraisal on my 2010 A4 yesterday. The guy looked at my car, scan the bar code by the driver side door and walked around the car. He said "Nice car and it is a base model!". Probably he says to all the cars that come in for appraisal. I told him it is one owner car and several upgrades made to the car.

So I asked him how much is the trade in value.. He said he needs 3 mins to calculate the numbers. So I waited 20 mins there, the guy just sat in his desk pretending working on his computer. I couldn't wait and gave me a sales person my cell asked him to call back with the trade in value. They never called me back since.

I guess they are not interested in base model A4 or because I have mods on the car? I'm definitely not going back to this dealer. No customer service and probably look down on someone who dress casually (gym shorts and T-shirt, sneakers).

I even bought my A4 from them 9 years ago.

Their customer service is horrible, try audi of Huntington, customer service is way better. They gave me the quote in less than 5 minutes and it wasn't too far off from kbb

Most Audi dealers will buy modded cars and sell them on their main lot, it's still on brand. I traded in my modded base model one at an Audi dealer in CT a few years back for basically what book trade-in value was.
