Up for sale is the ultimate autocross wheel and tire setup for our cars. These wheels allow you to run a 275 RE71R (they run really wide) lowered super low without rubbing! My setup pictures below is:
Bilstein PSS10 set pretty damn low
SPC control arms
3.5° camber up front (could get away with around 2.5°)
2.5° camber in rear
On to the wheels. To start, this is not an Audi fitment. They come in 5x114 from the factory. They have been redrilled (widened towards the hub) to fit 5x112. You don't need wobble bolts or anything. I've run these on multiple autocrosses and track days and never had any issues with the redrilled or bolts untorquing themselves. This is a very safe setup.
On the track day topic, these have been track wheels, so they are dirty! There are some small chips around the bolt holes from being changed at the track. They also have a lot of brake dust and rubber and whatnot caked on. It's nothing permanent, but I rate cleaning track wheels at about 1 out of 10 on my list of things I like to do in my free time.
The last disclosure on these is that they don't actually quite clear the rear brakes. There's a stupid bracket that sticks out and serves no other purpose than to hit the spokes of RPF1s with its corners. 2 minutes of grinding fixes it. That said, I didn't realize this when installing them in the pitch black for the first time, and they self-clearanced themselves and put a big ring around the inside spokes. You can see it in the pictures; it's really pretty minor and is in the fat part of the spokes. I've had no reservations driving HARD on these and they've proven to be just fine with their little splash of character.
The tires on them are pretty worn but have a couple autocrosses left on them. I wouldn't plan on driving on the street with them, as you'd get in trouble in the rain.
This wheel/tire/suspension setup has allowed me to make quite a wave in the autocross community. They allow our heavy S4s to beat the s2000s and the Corvettes at their own game.
$1,100 shipped in US FIRM. $1000 local pickup in the Milwaukee area.
