Anyone running APR downpipes with an Milltek Exhaust? feedback?

Current setup is a stage 3 with APR downpipes.
Looking for a Milltek exhaust. Not sure if i want to go resonated or non.

Also not sure how much more obnoxious the sound is.

I have APR DPs in my garage and miltek on my car.

Is there an adapter I can buy to mate these 2 up?

no but super easy to make fit, just need to extend.

I currently have APR Downpipes and Stage 2.. with Miltek non-res valvesonic. It's too effin loud. I'm only 39 and love muscle cars so can appreciate a nice vocal exhaust. But this thing sounds like an open pipe track car above 3k RPM.

I ordered the Milltek resonated center section and will replace the current non-res section next week. I like a mean sound, just not the "hey look at me i'm 16yrs old driving a straight piped civic" sound.

That's exactly the comment I was looking for. I don't want it sounding obnoxious. I will be going with the resonated version. I would think the downpipes already contribute enough to the sound.

The downpipes do contribute quite a bit to sound all by themselves. They made my stock 2014 exhaust a lot louder under throttle than it used to be. It howls nicely at WOT now, whereas before I had thought it was way too quiet. I had been considering an AWE touring exhaust but no longer feel motivated to go that route, I'm so pleased with the note from the downpipes.

that's the setup I run, miltek valvesonic with the front res section and miltek DP's and rs turbos, originally i went non res and it was just way too much for all the time as jstrebel said especially during cold starts. I MAY go back to it though and get the CETE exhaust module to control it the way i want.

The APR DP's reduce down to the stock pipe size at the very ends.. the last 3 inches or so. Exhaust shop just cuts those off and then welds in a 4-6inch coupler connecting the DP's to the aftermarket pipes. It's like a 20min job.
