Dont know if I can help. My 98 2.8 30 tip sometimes doesn't want to shift. I found that if I switch to manual shift and back it starts shifting fine again. I have the Bentley book and it shows three possible locations for the VSS. One (G38)you have to drop the trans pan. The other (G22) easiest is in front of the driver side axle. The third (G182) you have to drop the valve body.

I left the car in the parking lot.... Dont know what to do..

Does anybody know where its leaking from?

If you are referring to the crank position sensor, it is located at around three o’clock on the driver’s side where the engine meets the transmission. It is held in by one hex bolt. If you are talking about the speed sensor inside the transmission, IIRC it is under the valve body inside the tranny. There is also one on the driver’s side output flange towards the front of the car.

The input/turbine speed sensor is usually located on the transmission itself, near the torque converter. I'd suggest checking the sensor's wiring for any visible damage or loose connections first. If everything looks fine, it might be a good idea to replace the speed sensor. However, driving in limp mode isn't ideal for the health of your transmission, so it'd be better to get it checked out as soon as possible.
